Samsung Galaxy S24 series offers AI-centric features and on-device processing feature for users this year.

Samsung Galaxy S24 series will be made in India, and the company is going to use its large noida factory unit to manufacture these devices for the domestic and global markets. The update was shared by J B Park, President and CEO of Samsung India on Thursday.

Samsung started the production at the same plant a few years back, showing its focus and commitment to the Indian market. The new Galaxy S24 lineup is also the first to come baked with AI-centric features powered by Google’s Gemini large language model.

Samsung has three mainline devices to choose from: the vanilla Galaxy S24, the Galaxy S24 Plus, and the top-of-the-line Galaxy S24 Ultra.

This year, the Galaxy S24 Ultra starts at Rs 1,29,999 for the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The 512GB variant costs Rs 1,39,999, and the 1TB variant comes for Rs 1,59,999. The Galaxy S24 Plus is slightly cheaper and now has 12GB of RAM as standard across all variants. It starts at Rs 99,999 for the 256GB base model and goes all the way up to Rs 1,09,999 for the 512GB variant.

Galaxy S24 is the smallest of the three models, coming in at 6.2-inches and it comes with 8GB of RAM across all variants. The 256GB model costs Rs 79,999, while the 512GB variant costs Rs 89,999, which means there is no 128GB model from the company this year for buyers in India. Pre-bookings for the phone have started from January 18 and they will be available in the market from January 31 in the country.
